Horsham has several memorials to our veterans.

Hatboro Horsham High School

Music teacher Bill Naydan, together with Hatboro-Horsham community members, led the effor to erect the three-pillar monument, shown above, that was dedicated on May 15, 2015.

Standing as a lasting tribute to our local heroes, the Hatboro-Horsham War Memorial is a striking three-paneled monument crafted from black granite.

The centerpiece anchors the memorial with a soaring eagle, an American flag, and a powerful reflection from President Harry S. Truman regarding the unpayable debt owed to our service members. Flanking the presidential quote are the official insignia of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, alongside a dedicated POW-MIA emblem ensuring those missing or captured are never forgotten.

Dedicated in 1974, this classic brick and stone monument at Horsham VFW Post 9788 (324 Saw Mill Lane, Horsham) stands as a quiet reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by our armed forces. Though the stone is weathered by time, its core message remains a powerful tribute:<.p>

“In memory of our fallen comrades… who gave their lives so we can live in freedom.”
Embedded in a sturdy brick base, the plaque offers a enduring space for reflection and remembrance within the community.

The memorial shown below was located at the Horsham VFW Post 9788 when we took this photo in 2016, but is not there as of May 2026. It was dedicated in 1959 to the Men and Women of Horsham Township who have Served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America. Graeme Park

A light gray granite memorial stone resting in grass in front of a wooden split-rail fence, flanked by two circular metal "U.S. WAR VETERAN" markers. The inscription reads: "DEDICATED TO U.S. SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN, BOTH PRESENT AND VETERAN FOR THEIR HONORABLE DUTY IN PEACE AND WAR. GRAEME PARK"

The memorial above is located at Graeme Park and was dedicated as part of our WWII reenactment weekend in 2013. The inscription reads:

“Dedicated to the Service Men and Women both Present and Veteran for their Honorable Duty in Peace and War”

The monument was donated by Mark Boyce. It is installed on the Penrose Strawbridge Farm at Graeme Park directly at the end of the entrance driveway from County Line Road.
